Capture Your Horowhenua is a photo competition that encourages Horowhenua residents to share what they love about their district.
Whether you’re a professional with a camera, or enjoy taking photos on your phone – this competition is for you!
There's a fabulous bag of Horowhenua goodies for the winner, who will be determined by a public vote.
The theme for the 2023 winter season is ‘Matariki – honouring Hiwa-i-te-rangi – the attainment of goals, dreams and aspirations’.
Local photographers were encouraged to send their best photos that capture the theme - moments of joy, achievement, celebration, the night sky, or something unique and creative!
Shortlisted entries are displayed in Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō during the month of July 2023.
