Here's a list of what Council delivers to provide context - Land Transport, water services, rubbish and recycling, parks, playgrounds and sports fields, libraries and community facilities, aquatics facilities, local amenities, public toilets, adaptation and emergency management, housing and business development, events, arts and culture, planning and building services, economic development, tourism and destination promotion, bylaws, compliance and public safety, community development and grants, governance, planning and reporting, cemeteries, commercial and heritage property, and communications and engagement.

In the upcoming Long Term Plan there are issues council needs to address regardless of reform. Council is thinking about making changes to property, recycling and waste minimisation and community facilities and services.
