Help shape access and parking in Levin’s Town Centre
We’re planning for an easier, safer and more welcoming town centre - and we want your help.
Council is developing an Access & Parking Strategy to guide how people get to and around Levin’s Town Centre, now and in the future.
Instead of sharing a draft, we’re asking the community first. Your feedback will help shape the issues we focus on, the options we consider, and the priorities we set.
Why this matters
Access and parking influence how easily people can reach shops, services and workplaces - and how our streets feel for those walking, cycling, using mobility aids or public transport.
With the upcoming Ōtaki to north of Levin expressway (Ō2NL) changing how traffic moves through town, this is the right time to plan ahead. Less through-traffic will mean safer, quieter streets and new opportunities to make Oxford Street more people-friendly and connected.
What we’re looking at
We want to understand:
How you currently access Levin’s Town Centre
Your experience finding parking
What helps or hinders you getting around
What you think is most important for the future - for people, businesses and visitors.
Your insights will help us balance different needs, use space smarter, and support a vibrant town centre as Levin grows.
Kōrero Mai | Have Your Say
Please take the time to complete the Access & Parking survey below, it should take about 5 minutes.
Engagement opens on Tuesday 18 November 2025. Feedback closes at 4pm on Friday 16 January 2026.
